Coats and Flags
In August 1643 Warwick's regiment received 2 new colours with 'spots' as devices. At the siege of Greenland House the three Essex Trained Band regiments carried blue, white and yellow flags. However its not recorded which regiment carried which.

Earl of Warwick
Robert Rich, Second Earl of Warwick (1587-1658) was Lord High Admiral.
Henry Farr
Lieutenant Colonel to Warwick, he led the initial Royalist uprising in Colchester and led the regiment as a Royalist colonel during the siege.
Strength
- Supposed to be 1000 men in 1643, but Barrington's only mustered 200 in the July
