Parliamentarian regiment of horse serving in Radnorshire

Martin led his regiment into Radnorshire in autumn 1645 garrisoning New Radnor. The command may have included some foot.

Martin, who may have been a Cornishman, had previously served in the Northern Association and for the Monmouthshire committee. There seem to have been some doubts about his loyalty, with Parliament at one point removing him from any command, though this was subsequently revoked.
