Coats, Flags and Equipment

Noted as having 265 Swedish feathers in February 1645. (These were actually in store in Denbigh's magazine in Stafford). Denbigh had sent Swedish feathers up to the midlands in August or September 1643 and in February 1644 had purchased 100 muskets with half pikes. It is possible that the 18 “Sweeds feathers with muskett rests” in the magazine were the remainder of these “half pikes” which would indicate that some at least were issued. 1)
