Flags and Equipment

On the 2nd of May 1644 the Royalist Ordnance Papers recorded the issue of 60 cases of pistols and holsters and 40 carbines as well as saddles and bits to equip Blagge's troop of 100 cuirassiers then being raised. Whether they actually served in cuirassier armour is unconfirmed.
