  • September 3rd: Middleton commissioned.1)
  • October c24th: Middleton commissioned to take over Lord Fielding’s Regiment of Horse2)
  • November 11th: Regiment refered to in warrant as lately Col. Middleton's.3)
  • December c22nd: Regiment breaks up


The regiment was largely formed by mounting the three firelock companies of the Earl of Essex’s Regiment of Foot
