Not a regiment, but a 6000 strong force of horse and foot participating in something in-between a military coup and a peasants' revolt known as the Whiggamore Raid. Eglinton and Loudon mobilised opposition in Scotland to the pro-Royalist Engagers once the disaster at Preston became known. Having taken Edinburgh, they marched to Falkirk and negotiated with the Engagers, resulting in the Treaty of Stirling by which all forces were disbanded.
